Get out & garden. This is a very important summer. Get some food producing systems going. Small scale or large, it's all worth it when you sit down to eat it. Do it. If you don't plant it you don't eat it. Worm farms are good too. Produce your own fert from scraps from stuff you grew. How immeasurably satisfying to close the loop like that. Just get out there. Like I said, I feel this is a very important summer for us all here.

October 2009, Big holly bush at Cardoness Castle, southwest Scotland, on the way to catch the Stranraer-Belfast ferry. After this day, it was just rain or drizzle &  just crap weather hah  :-/ but we were still in shock I think from the epic awesomeness of the West Yorkshire Dales ...
